In Loving Memory and Honor Of Steve Allan Hawkins

Steve Allan Hawkins, 68, of Splendora, Texas, passed away on June 13th 2022 .

Steve was born on July 7th 1953 in Eustis, Florida. Steve was the first of three siblings which included his younger brother  David and younger sister Kathy, resulting from the Love of their Father and Mother, Wilbur Frederick Hawkins and Janet Ann Patton Hawkins.

Steve graduated Highschool from Jane Long Junior High School located in Houston, Texas in 1977. 

After graduating from highschool Steve served his country in the US Navy from 1971 to 1975 on the USS America Aircraft Carrier, a Kitty Hawk-Class Supercarrier, during the Vietnam war. Steve was proud of his military service until he passed. He was a true American Patriot who loved his country. 

Shortly after serving his country, Steve went on to fall in Love and Married Laurie Jean Barko, the daughter of Andrew J.  and Wanda C. Barko. Steve and Laurie were married at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Houston, Texas on September 11th, 1976. On April 11th, 1985, The Lord blessed Steve and Laurie with Steve’s First born Son, Justin Hawkins. Steve and Laurie maintained an amicable love for, and friendship with each other that lasted to the day he passed. 

Steve later remarried to Robin Shook in 1992, with whom he had two wonderful children, his 2nd Son, Tanner Hawkins and first Daughter, Haley Hawkins.
